An exceptional example of humanitarian product design, the $100 Laptop (One Laptop Per Child) is going BOGO! The “Buy one give one” program starts Monday November 12th and runs for 2 weeks only- just $399 buys one laptop for your little one and one for a child in a developing nation. The Fuseproject-designed gadget is a great example of design with a conscience that combines social priorities with great, sexy design.

It never ceases to amaze that alot of people dont stop to think that there are kids in our own country that could really use a laptop-nothing against poor kids in developing nations-In Appalachia or any given big inner city there are people living in conditions that would quite literally shake the very overpriced Starbucks Latte in your well manicured paw-Yet we dont hear about this travesty occuring everyday in our own backyards….
